How this site handles your data

This site uses Matomo, an open-source analytics platform. Our Matomo instance is self-hosted on our own servers — your data never leaves our infrastructure and is never shared with any third party.

We collect basic, anonymous usage data to understand how visitors use this site:

• Pages visited and time spent
• Referring website (how you arrived)
• Browser type, operating system, and screen resolution
• Approximate geographic location (country/region level, derived from anonymised IP)

This data helps us understand which content is useful and how the site can be improved. It is never used for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond improving this resource.

We run Matomo in cookieless mode. No analytics cookies are placed on your device. No cookie consent banner is needed because there are no cookies to consent to.

Your browser may store standard technical data (such as cached files) to improve page load times. This is normal browser behaviour and is not used for tracking.

Matomo anonymises IP addresses by default. The last two bytes of your IP address are masked before any data is stored, making it impossible to identify individual visitors from the analytics data.

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When you visit a page, your browser makes a request to Google's servers to retrieve the font files. Google's privacy policy applies to this data. No other third-party services are used.

The site is served through Cloudflare, which provides DNS and content delivery. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies to connection-level data processed during delivery.

You can opt out of analytics entirely using the control below. If you have enabled Do Not Track in your browser, Matomo respects this setting automatically — no data will be collected.
